Self-efficacy of Teachers in Teaching English amid the Covid-19 Pandemic

This study aimed to analyze teachers’ self-efficacy in teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) amid the Covid-19 pandemic Cilacap, Central Java province, Indonesia. The used qualitative case design. had exposed questionnaire from twelve teachers three Senior High Schools and interviewed four each of these schools represented respondents. data were then analyzed using interactive model analysis. Moreover, responses for scale revealed result percentage conclude interview usage support perception their English. proved that possess high EFL. These delivered positive perceptions self-efficacy, which encouraged them have great deal determining instructional strategies, engaging students, managing class during distance learning. Furthermore, specific findings within domains student engagement, classroom management provide further insight into importance examining overall EFL supporting
